Brockies KDM Hire Cookstown 100 Debut

Double jobbing is nothing new when talking to a motorcycle racer, and newcomer to this year's KDM Hire Cookstown 100 Kieran Brockie is no different!. From Nantwich in Cheshire, Kieran works at Wychwood Park Golf club, where he is deputy head greenkeeper, along with a part-time job on the railway, as a fitter! The joys of motorcycling, the costs, hence the jobs! Now in his 6th season of tarmac racing, Kieran began racing as a schoolboy in junior Moto Cross, before moving up into the Adult Experts at AMCA, Before trying his hand at the tarmac. The 37-year-old began tarmac racing in 2016 at the Wirral 100, Thundersport and NG Championships, made his road race debut at the 2019 Southern 100 and has since been a regular at Olivers Mount. Having heard about the Irish road race scene, Kieran decided, he has to see for himself, so, next weekend, will see Brockie make his Irish road race debut at Cookstown in the senior support race on his NPORS/MUK R6 Yamaha.
