Sheehan, Fastest Teacher in Ireland back for KDM Hire Cookstown 100

Fastest teacher in Ireland! That's Rahenys Barry Sheehan, always immaculately turned out on his R6 Yamaha, Barry began his racing career back in 2013 at Mondello Park, onboard the popular SV650 Suzuki in the production twin class. One year later, he made his road race debut, here at Cookstown in the junior support class, where he finished in 18th place. Over the years Barry has missed this event, but this year will be his fourth visit to the Orittor circuit, The last time Sheehan competed here was in 2018, where he won the Junior support race, going on to take the Irish Junior Support championship that year, and also, made his Manx Grand Prix debut, where he achieved an amazing third place in the Junior Newcomers race. For the 2021 KDM Hire Cookstown 100, 36 year old Barry will compete in the super twin's race onboard the Game On Kawasaki, and in the senior support onboard his BSR Yamaha R6. So far this year, Barry is Currently lying in 7th position in the USBK Supersport Pro class with the best position of 5th in the last round at Bishopscourt and lying 9th in the Dunlop Masters Superbike Championship with a 5th position being my best results this year.
