Jack Oliver!, one to watch at KDM Hire Cookstown

Whilst Michael Dunlop may have stolen the headlines from the Armoy road races, newcomer Jack Olivers performance in the senior support race was somewhat overshadowed. The 19-year-old who has been putting in some impressive results on the short circuits began racing in 2019, wherein his first season, onboard his R6 Yamaha took 4th place in the 600 supersport Cup class. With this sort of performance, it was no surprise that Jack was moved up to the Supersport Pro class for 2020 but due to Covid he never got much racing so realistically,2021 is his first season in the pro class Prior Armoy, Jack had only competed in one short circuit meeting, before his debut at the Armoy in the senior support class, where he surprised everyone by qualifying on pole! In the race itself, Jack led from the drop of the flag, but towards the end, suffered arm pump, thus allowing Eoin O Sourichu to nip through to take the win, Nevertheless, second place on his road race debut is nothing to be sniffed at! In Jacks own words;” I really am looking forward to the KDM Hire Cookstown 100, and excited to see what happens there! But without my Dad, Mum, Brother, Sister and Girlfriend, Cousins, family and Sponsors this wouldn’t be possible!!, So it's a Big Thank You to each and every one of them!
